1. What RingCatch Is

RingCatch.app is a lead qualification service for tradespeople (plumbers, electricians, contractors, and others). When a customer calls a RingCatch client's business number and the call is not answered, RingCatch sends an automated SMS to that customer to collect their contact information and service request on the client's behalf.

2. SMS Messaging Program

How customers are contacted

When you call a business number powered by RingCatch and the call goes unanswered, you may receive a single SMS from that business asking about your service request. By calling the number, you are initiating contact with the business and consenting to receive a follow-up text in response to that call.

Message content

Messages are limited to the service qualification conversation — collecting your name, address, and description of what you need. No marketing, promotions, or unrelated communications are sent.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. Typically a short conversation of 3–8 messages total, initiated only when you call the business number.

Opt-out

Reply STOP at any time to immediately unsubscribe. You will receive no further messages from that number.

3. Information We Collect

When a customer interacts with the RingCatch SMS qualification system, we collect:

  • Mobile phone number (provided by the caller)
  • Name (provided voluntarily during the conversation)
  • Service address (provided voluntarily during the conversation)
  • Description of the service requested (provided voluntarily)
  • Conversation message history

When a business signs up for RingCatch, we collect their name, business name, email address, phone number, and service area.

4. How We Use Information

  • To conduct the SMS qualification conversation on behalf of the business
  • To log confirmed leads to the business's lead tracking spreadsheet
  • To send the business an alert when a qualified lead is confirmed
  • To process billing for delivered leads
  • To improve the reliability and quality of the service

We do not sell personal information. We do not use customer data for advertising.

5. Information Sharing

We share data only as necessary to operate the service:

  • Twilio — SMS delivery infrastructure. Customer phone numbers and message content pass through Twilio's platform.
  • Google — Confirmed lead data is stored in Google Sheets for the client business's records.
  • Anthropic — Conversation content is processed by Claude (Anthropic's AI) to conduct the qualification conversation.
  • Stripe — Business billing information is processed by Stripe. Customer data is not shared with Stripe.
  • The client business — Confirmed lead information (name, address, issue, phone number) is delivered to the business whose number was called.

No data is sold, rented, or shared with any other third parties.

6. Data Retention

Conversation records are retained for billing verification and service quality purposes. Customers may request deletion of their data by contacting us at [email protected]. Opt-out records (STOP) are retained indefinitely to ensure no further contact.
