How it works

What does RingCatch actually do?

When a customer calls your business number and you don't answer, RingCatch sends them a text within seconds. Our AI assistant follows up, collects their name, address, and what they need help with, then confirms the details with them. You get a text alert with everything — name, address, issue, and their phone number — so you can call them back and close the job.

How do I get set up?

Fill out the signup form and we'll be in touch within 24 hours to complete your setup. We provision a dedicated phone number for your business, set up your lead tracking spreadsheet, and text you when everything is running — typically within 3–5 business days after carrier verification. Nothing to install, no code, no hardware.

What does the AI say to my customers?

The AI introduces itself as an assistant for your business, asks what the customer needs help with, collects their name and address, and reads the details back to confirm. It can answer basic questions about your services and share your rate ranges if you provide them. It does not make scheduling commitments or quote firm prices — it collects the information and tells the customer someone will call them back.

Can the AI book an appointment on my calendar?

Not yet. Right now the AI qualifies the lead and alerts you — then you call the customer back to confirm timing. Calendar integration is on our roadmap.

What if my customer calls outside business hours?

RingCatch runs 24/7. If someone calls at 11pm on a Sunday, we respond immediately and qualify them. Their information will be waiting for you when you start your day.

What happens after a lead is confirmed?

You get a text alert with the customer's name, address, issue, and phone number, plus a suggested opening line for when you call them back. Every confirmed lead is also logged automatically to a Google Sheet we set up for you.

What if the customer is rude or it's a spam call?

The AI ends the conversation immediately. You are never charged for unqualified or dismissed contacts — only for real, fully confirmed leads.

Billing

What counts as a billable lead?

A lead is billable only when the customer has confirmed all three of these in the conversation: their name (first name is fine), the service address (street and city), and what the issue is. If a customer drops off before all three are confirmed, there is no charge.

How much does it cost?

You only pay for qualified leads — pricing is discussed during setup. No setup fee. No monthly fee. No contracts.

When do I get invoiced?

On the first of each month we generate an invoice for the prior month's leads. You'll get a link to review each lead and approve before any charge goes through.

What if a lead turns out to be bad?

You have seven days from the invoice date to dispute a charge. If the customer gave false information or the lead clearly doesn't meet the criteria, reach out and we'll review it. We're not in the business of charging you for junk.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No contracts, no commitments. Cancel any time by emailing us. Any leads already delivered and invoiced remain due, but there are no early termination fees.

What trades do you work with?

We work with 29 trades including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, general contracting, landscaping, cleaning, pest control, and more. Select your specific services during signup — the AI will only accept calls that match what you offer.

What about my existing phone number?

We provision a new dedicated number for your business. You can use it as your primary number, or forward calls from your existing number to it — either way works. During onboarding we'll walk you through the setup that fits your situation.

What if a customer asks about pricing?

If you provide a rate card during onboarding, the AI will share your standard service ranges honestly when asked. It will never quote a firm price — it always lets the customer know that someone will call to confirm exact pricing.

How do I see my leads?

Every confirmed lead is automatically logged to a Google Sheet we create for you — customer name, address, issue, phone number, and timestamp. You also get a real-time text alert the moment a lead is confirmed.

Is this TCPA compliant?

Yes. We only contact customers who have already called your number, which establishes an existing business relationship. Customers can reply STOP at any time and we honor it immediately — no further contact. The AI also discloses that it is an AI assistant if a customer asks.
